Brief description of the company
Passalacqua began its activities in the leather trade in 1924, in Ribeirão Preto, by the Italian immigrant Calixto Passalacqua, who gave his name to the business: Casa de Couros Calixto Passalacqua. Eighteen years later, the company was renamed Passalacqua & Cia Ltda, when Calixto decided to pass control of the business to his son, Sílvio Passalacqua. On July 13, 1990, the foam industry was founded to meet the demands of the furniture market, and would later begin producing mattresses.
